Falling For Fall
Towards the end of last week I started getting an itch to wear fall colors (I even had my gel polish changed). Most likely it’s because I keep seeing my favorite lifestyle bloggers dressing and ready for fall with their neutral colors, booties, vests and berry lips. And thanks to the #Nsale it pushed me to purchase a couple items. In the past I’ve been horrible about buying seasonal pieces in advance, but this year I’m trying to stay ahead of the game. Stores bring out all the good fall goodies so far in advance – and if you don’t get them right away you’ll be wishing you had.
Fur Vests | Distressed Skinnies | Quilted Totes | Neutral Tunics | Fringe Boots | Fun Tech Accessories
I’ve highlighted some items that are trending this year and I have a feeling you will see quite a bit. Some can be staples all year round, like a good pair of distressed jeans, a great functional tote, airy tunics, and of course accessories like key chains and phone cases. I don’t change my phone case much, even though I feel like that’s a trend, because it seems like a waste of money. BUT, recently my Gigi New York case started falling apart and my dark jeans dyed the sides of the leather blue (it looked really sad) so I picked up this polk-a-dot Kate Spade iPhone 6 case…only $25 from the #Nsale (which sadly ended yesterday).

Fringe embellished shoes are all the rage this season – and most of them in suede! These Sam Edelman’s are amazing and when you walk they swish back and forth…these would be perfect paired with skinny jeans and a neutral top – since the boots are definitely the star of the show. I saw a pair of super cute fringe boots from Target via Instagram but I haven’t been able to find them in the store or online yet – if someone else does please send me the link! Thank you!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Our weather here in Virginia was beautiful – sunshine, sunshine, sunshine! Lately, I’ve been summer cleaning and purging items I don’t use or need…AND I’m downsizing my apartment so I’m trying to sell a bunch of furniture and home decor. I’m super excited, but moving is always a ton of work.
