Y’all! I am SO excited to share today’s outfit post! I’ve purchased several new items lately, most under $50, and have some MAJOR new favs! I reached out on Instagram and the majority of people said they are looking for affordable pieces right now, or items on sale… and I totally get it, who doesn’t love a good sale?! I’m happy to announce my incredible ruffle sleeve bodysuit (which won’t last long) is only $35, my high waist linen blend shorts are under $50, my quilted leather shoulder bag is an amazing dupe for a higher-end version, same with my heart-shaped glasses under $20, beaded geometric drop earrings under $13, and finally… my beautiful and versatile ankle strap heeled sandals are ON SALE 40% off!

Alright, let’s chit-chat about why I love each of these pieces so much. I’ll start with the ruffle sleeve bodysuit. I saw this bodysuit online (FOR $35!) and immediately put it into my cart. I feel like I have a pretty good sense of when things will sell out fast and this is def one of them! And I’ve seen it on a lot of other bloggers and IGers which means it won’t be around long. It’s surprisingly comfortable and the fit is great (true to size). AND I love that it’s so versatile. I dressed it up with a nice linen blend summer short and ankle strap sandal, but you could also wear it with a high-waisted denim short or skirt with a cute sandal or wedge. Lastly, the detailing is spot on. Sometimes ruffles can overtake an outfit or they don’t fall right on the body, but these give an outfit just the right amount of boost (and they continue all the way around the back). Oh, it also comes in a really pretty light blue!

My high waist linen blend shorts (ONLY $49) are also a MUST-HAVE! I cannot even express enough what a staple these shorts are for summer. It’s been a very long time since I’ve had shorts other than distressed denim and I’m always looking for a warm-weather alternative to a dress or pants. And these are IT! They come in lots of colors and are extremely comfortable (true to size). You could dress the black down too, but I love it paired with the ankle strap sandals with the pop of black underneath, and my quilted handbag obsession. This kind of short would work well for a casual outing, a dinner, a graduation party, or even a bridal shower (I’ve had lots of requests for ideas). I would seriously RUN to the site and snag a pair while you can – I definitely want to grab some additional colors. 

Speaking of my handbag obsession, this quilted leather shoulder bag with chain detail is absolutely amazing. Y’all have seen it in previous posts and I’m still carrying it all the time. It’s such good quality and has a high-end look perfect for anyone who loves this kind of detail but doesn’t want to or can’t shell out a couple thousand dollars. You can fit quite a bit inside, it has inner pockets, and even an inner flap to keep things nice and secure. The inside is a beautiful burgundy and no one will ever guess it cost less than $130!

Keeping with chic affordable styles, my heart-shaped sunnies are less than $20! And they look just like the more expensive alternative. I’m all for investing in staples, but with something trendy like this, it’s great to keep it cheap! Seriously, they look just like the $500 version.

And finally, my ankle strap heeled sandals. I was so excited when linking them to this post to find out they are on MAJOR sale 40% off, making them less than $100. This brand is one of my favorites for both their quality and their comfort. These would be an amazing shoe for “every occasion.” There’s nothing better than a great nude sandal that goes with everything, especially if you’re traveling or have numerous weddings to attend or take part in. I LOVE that the bottoms are colored black. None of my other ankle strap sandals have this coloring on the bottom and I feel like it elevates the look. They run true to size and have a really cool thin block-like heel!
