Good Morning and welcome to Face It Friday!

My apologies about this post going up a little late today. Justin and I traveled to Kentucky yesterday for my best friend’s wedding weekend and didn’t get into the hotel until 3:30am! Sooo needless to say I let myself sleep in a bit and luckily was able to get wifi to put this up. We are staying at a scenic lodge so internet connectivity is not the top priority hah! Also, if I’m late to reply to messages this weekend, bare with me, as I want to make my besties wedding a top priority.

I decided to share not only some beauty products today, but also an adorable off the shoulder top! I seriously felt like Barbie taking these photos and I literally cannot tell you how excited I was when I put this baby on and it fit like a glove. I’m pretty sure I went on and on and on about how much I love it. It’s from an adorable boutique called She Is Boutique, and the best part is that it only costs $28! So affordable and so cute! In addition, I wanted to share my favorite summer lip shades as well! Below are my six current favs and why I love and recommend them. If you have any favorites please leave them in the comments.

MAC Hue. Hue is probably my all time favorite color from MAC cosmetics. I’ve gone through more tubes of Hue than any other lipstick in my collection and it’s what I’m wearing above. I’ve always felt like it’s the perfect color for work, because it isn’t too opaque and extremely flattering to the lips. It’s described as a soft pale pink. But don’t be scared! It doesn’t give you “dead lips” if you are tan.

MAC Saint Germain. Saint Germain is a favorite among many YouTubbers and bloggers. It’s not one I wear day to day as it is very bright pink, but it’s wonderful for photos. The color is bright (described as a clean pastel pink) enough to translate and doesn’t get washed out in the sun. If you’re looking for a Barbie pink or need a fun shade for pics, this is the one!

MAC Plink! This is a new favorite and one I think everyone will love. I randomly stumbled upon this at the MAC counter several months ago and have been wearing it nonstop lately (with Marc Jacobs Sugar Sugar gloss on top). MAC calls it a warm seashell pink and I’d say that’s a fair assessment. And since it’s a lustre you can apply multiple coats or just one or two for a nice sheen of color.

MAC Honey Love. This lipstick has been everything lately! Seriously everything. For some reason when I wear this lipstick I feel 10 years older, and in a good way. It makes me feel much more mature and even a little sexy! This light beige toned shade with rose makes my lips appear fuller and more defined.

YSL Lingerie Pink. YSL makes the most luxurious formula of lipstick you may ever find. They even smell like candy and swipe on like a breeze. I would recommend YSL lipsticks to anyone and there is a fair range of colors for all skin types and preferences. Lingerie pink is very much a light pink so if you love that, you’ll love this, but if you don’t, then I would try a darker shade. 

Tom Ford Nude Vanille. This is my favorite lipstick of alllll timmmeee! And of course it comes at a crazy high price. I’ve only purchased one, because I can’t bring myself to buy a replacement yet…but the time is quickly approaching. For those who like a nude lip without too much brown or orange this is fantastic! It’s my “perfect” nude. And the formula is like butter – so pigmented and so creamy! If you can afford it, buy it!
