I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! I was planning to have this post up last Friday but sadly didn’t get to it before Saturday and Sunday rolled around… #badblogger… so here it is today!

J and I spent Saturday at Mountain Lake Lodge where they filmed Dirty Dancing – it literally looked just like it did in the movie! Two of our friends got married and the hotel & property were their venue of choice. Which was super convenient because after all of the festivities were over we were able to stay the night at the lodge. Unfortunately, it rained towards the end of the night and into the morning so we didn’t get to do too much exploring. The wedding was beautiful though! It was in a rustic barn with tons of twinkle lights.

PINK SCARF: Shiraleah (on sale!) | GREY RIBBED SWEATER: BP. | SKINNY JEANS: Agolde (my fav!) | TAN BOOTIES: Target | SUNGLASSES: Le Spec | BAG: LV Speedy 30

This is hands down the most practical sweater I’ve found for Fall… AND it’s only $45! It also comes in black and is made of a super soft lightweight ribbed material. It’s a great transitional piece because it’s not too heavy (you could even pair it with denim shorts!) and wears well so many different ways. When the weather gets cooler you could easily put it under a cardi, with a vest, or paired with a super comfy cozy scarf like this one! It’s currently on sale for less than $20! Colors have been going super fast so make sure to snag one. I also purchased it in tan.

My skinny jeans are definitely a splurge but they are my FAVORITE OF ALL TIME! They are really good quality, very versatile (no holes and a nice medium wash), are slimming to the body, run true to size, and don’t need to be hemmed if your petite (I’m 5’2″). I have them rolled up in these pics because my booties are taller but I can easily wear them rolled down with slip-on mules or ankle strap heels. I like them so much that I ended up buying them in white and in black, AND bought two pairs of denim shorts from this brand which are also my favorite two in my closet – so good!

Along with the ribbed grey sweater, my tan booties are a Fall must-have. Not only are they under $38, but they go with just about anything which means you’ll definitely get your wear out of them. They also come in black and in olive (which is really cute) in case you want to buy two or three for the price! The back portion has perforated detailing but it doesn’t go all the way through to your foot so your feet will stay warm as we move from Summer to Fall to Winter.

Have the best Monday and I’ll see you back here Wednesday!
