Hello, hello!

Today, I’m finally getting back on the blogging track. Phew! It’s been a long eleven days of travel and excitement and my body had no idea what time it is. I thought I was going to have a lot more down time than I did while on our trip, but I ended up planning poorly and missing two blog post days. But, today I’m back with a new Wear It Wednesday post featuring a darling peplum top under $40.

I found this simple peplum tee a few weeks back and loved it so much I also purchased it in light blue with stripes. It’s the perfect top for any occasion because you can dress it up or down and the detailing makes it less casual than a regular tee. I used to own several white v-necks but they all seemed to stretch out and lose their shape. This one, on the other hand, is made of a higher quality fabric that should wash and wear just fine! I paired my tee with my go-to distressed skinny jean (fyi I had mine hemmed) and the best bow mule espadrille of the year.  To finish it off I threw on my new favorite tortoise shades (only $24) and a brown cross body bag with tassels. Mine came from Stitch Fix, but I found a similar version on sale for $24 linked above!

For now, it will have to wait because it’s 11:16 PM on Tuesday and I’m still buried in work (yikes!).
