Adding Anti-Aging Skincare

I’ve had several requests over the last few months for more skin care posts, and specifically, products that help with anti-aging. It’s now something I’d put a lot of thought into previously, but not that I’ve turned the big 3-0 it’s definitely on my mind.  I’m noticing more and more that I’m extremely expressive with my forehead and there are more and more wrinkles coming out to party. 

I found three anti-wrinkle, multi-action products from HSN by StriVectin that I cannot wait to share with all of you. Perfect for scaring the look of those crows feet and laugh lines away.

I have to be very honest. Through the first couple weeks of the new year, I’ve started to notice changes in my body, my hair, and even my skin. Some are positive, some are from pure laziness, and some are from age. Dietary changes and exercise are things I have control of and am already in the process of fixing. Wrinkles (omg and grey hairs… sigh), however, are a problem I can’t fix all on my own.

 I don’t necessarily look my age, but I definitely feel it (and clearly am starting to see it), and as a blogger, I constantly overanalyze my appearance through blog posts, pictures, and Instagram stories. Lately, my forehead lines have been driving me crazy. I started to notice how expressive that area is years ago because whenever I would do my makeup creases would immediately be present. And now years into doing my makeup, I’m realizing the creasing is still there when no makeup is present. And now those lines gotta go! 

 I was actually glad so many people have asked about anti-aging products because it made me realize I need to start taking steps now to address additional visible signs of aging. I do have a very consistent and thorough skincare routine BUT nothing specifically for anti-aging or anti-wrinkle…

 until now, thanks to HSN and StriVectin!

The three products I’ve started using are listed below along with all the details and info!


StriVectin Multi-Action Moisture Matrix Melting Cleanser: I love a good oil based cleanser because it literally makes your makeup melt off. It’s a great way to get off all the dirt and grime from the day, and in this case, it also MOISTURIZES! I put that in caps because as I’ve gotten older, and also in the winter, my skin has gotten crazy dry. I’ve had to start using products with extra moisture and illuminating properties so my skin doesn’t get dull throughout the day. 

The Moisture Matrix Melting Cleanser contains ingredients that transform from a hydrating gel, to a silky oil, to a rich milk! I don’t know about you, but consistency is everything when it comes to skin care. There’s nothing better than a smooth, silky texture! To be more precise it’s made up of a four-oil super blend with marula, avocado, sweet almond and grapeseed to cleanse. You’ll also find dandelion leaf extract rice brand & sunflower extracts and other key ingredients to moisturize and provide the look of radiance.


StriVectin Anti-Wrinkle Intensive Concentrate For Wrinkles: This is the product I’ve been most excited about for the look of my forehead wrinkling. It’s designed to address visible key signs of aging, now and as time goes on. So it’s something you can keep in your repertoire for years to come! This moisturizer optimizes the look of skin’s own natural elasticity too, as the packaging states, “dramatically reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.” It also helps to optimize the skin’s barrier and, shockingly, is supposed to start working in 15 DAYS!


StriVectin Anti-Wrinkle Intensive Eye Concentrate For Wrinkles: Lastly, and certainly not least, I started using an anti-wrinkle lightweight moisturizer for the eyes since I have a feeling that’s the next place I’m going to start seeing lines appear. I already use an eye serum every night, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite steps, so this should be super easy to remember and integrate! This product is perfect for the morning because it helps to reduce the look of puffiness (yay!) and also brightens the look of dark circles.

I will also be adding these items to my Skin Care SHOP tab and I can’t wait to share my continued use and results. I’ve learned that consistency is key and I’m definitely going to keep using these daily.
