Affordable Summer Outfit | Nothing Over $50

Finally Friday! But really today feels like a Monday (which is so wrong haha!). Justin took off work the 4th, 5th, and today so yesterday felt like Sunday. Luckily, we have three more days of Netflix watching and laying around the house (it’s wayyy too hot to be outside). We had the laziest Fourth of July ever… and I’m not complaining. J wasn’t feeling very well so we stayed in bed until 3 pm watching TV, then moved to the living room to watch TV, and then at the end of the day… you guessed it, moved back to the bedroom to watch TV. It sounds kind of ridiculous typing it out but we all need days like that to relax and recharge. I took a mini social media break and it felt good to step back for a little bit. But I’m back at it today, with a post, a try-on sesh, and taking lots of photos for several campaigns coming soon to Instagram and the blog.

We are officially six days away from Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access and I literally can’t stand it! It’s my favorite sale of the entire year and I can’t wait to share all of the amazing late summer and pre-fall pieces with you that will be available. For today, I wanted to share some affordable summer outfit inspo. Versatile items you can wear throughout the season and into fall with a light jacket. Everything included is under $50 individually, and just over $200 for it all! I absolutely love these new tie waist chambray shorts for $45 and have a sneaking suspicion they won’t last long (I normally size down in this brand). I own the $35 button front camisole in two colors and can’t say enough good things. It wears well and looks beautiful dressed up or down (again, I would recommend sizing down.) And how cute are the two paired with this new scalloped faux leather tote?! It would make an amazing work bag and fits so much inside.
