Good Morning and Happy Friday!

I thought I’d share my current beauty wish list with you today. Lots of amazing items, some within reach, and some I will be saving for for quite a while. See below to find out why they are on my list!
1. Beautycounter Lustro Face Oil 1. I started using Beautycounter products shortly after moving to California and have been really pleased by each and every one of them. Their products are void of harmful chemicals and fragrances, which makes them a great choice for skin care. I’ve heard their lustro oil in number 1 is absolutely amazing and I’d love to find out if the hype is true. I don’t currently have an oil in my skincare regimen, so it’s on my wish list for sure! (When I was looking it up online I think it may actually be called the Soothing Face Oil now).
2. Dry Bar High Tops Self-Grip Rollers. I recently purchased a new brush and round brush (since posting my hair guide) and both are by Dry Bar. They are so light weight and super cute in bright yellow! I noticed they also make some self-gripvrollers and it’s been so long since I’ve owned some for extra volume in the top layer of my hair. They are a good medium size and are great to use while you are getting ready in the morning. You can also blast them with hot air for even more body.
3. Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Foundation. I’ve had my eyes on this expensive little bottle of foundation for quite some time now. I received a sample in one of my Sephora packages and fell head over hills the first time I applied it. It has such a luxurious consistency and goes onto the skin like silk (and it should for $63). I’ve been waiting and waiting to purchase, because I can never justify it, but I think I’ll splurge around the holiday when Sephora has their 20% off VIB Rouge sale.

4. Loving Tan Bronze Shimmer Luminous Cream. Loving Tan recently came out with a body bronzer shimmer product and it looks gorgeous in all their Instagram photos! I go through bottles of their self-tanner like it’s my job (I self-tan once a week). I’m so impressed with the quality of their products and I’m pretty certain this one is amazing as well! And who doesn’t want an instant bronze?!
5. Bio Ionic Blow Dryer. Another item I’ve been looking at for over a year now. My blow dryer is an amazing, and shocking eight years old and it’s time for something newer…and lighter. I’ve done a lot of research and found Bio Ionic’s 10x Ultra Light Blow Dryer. The description says it should have an extremely long life and it weighs less than a pound – which would be awesome for travel! I normally use hotel dryers so I don’t have to lug mine around, but they take 10x longer to dry my hair. This is another item I plan on purchasing during the holiday Sephora sale.

6. Diva Ring Light. You may have noticed that I don’t post as many makeup photos as I used to and that’s mainly because of the lighting in our house. It’s been very difficult to find the right light so a ring light is definitively in order. That way I don’t have to depend on natural light and it will bring out all the little details and color. Maybe Santa will put this under the tree!
7. Bum Bum Cream. I originally heard Jacyln Hill talk about this product on her YouTube channel, and if Jaclyn likes it, 99.9% of the time I will like it too. She raved about this skin tightening cream from Sephora and I almost bought the travel size yesterday, but somehow found the strength to say “no.” The full size is 8.1 oz. of bum tightening goodness so it should last for a long time!
8. Louis Vuitton Makeup Bag. This item will be a huge, future splurge. I’ve been looking at them for years and really want a makeup bag I can keep for years to come. The ones I have now are rather cheap and quickly get dirty and fall apart. Plus, they are never big enough. It’s hard to beat the quality of Louis Vuitton and I feel it would be worth the price to use it for years, and years, and years. And years.
9. D&G 3 L’Imperatrice Perfume. For a couple months now, Justin and I have been on the hunt for new fragrances. We each found one we love and have been getting numerous samples from Sephora ever since. I plan to add this to my holiday cart as well. It’s a sweet, light scent.
10. Marc Jacobs Brushes. Marc Jacobs makes, without a doubt, the best makeup brushes I’ve ever used! No joke, I’ve only used the Face I brush to apply my foundation for well over a year now. It’s so luxurious and very well made. Plus, my makeup applies evenly and correctly. Right now I have my eye on the The Face II and The Shape Contour & Blush Brush.
Have a wonderful weekend and don’t forget to follow Articles of Society on Snapchat at aosdenim for my Snapchat takeover! It’ll be so much fun – Justin and I have planned lots of fun things to do so we don’t look totally boring hah!
