Happy Friday, Friends!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week. I’ve been super busy trying to catch up since we were gone on our trip and have been cramming in some additional styling hours as well. I know I’ve been a little MIA on Instagram but I should be a lot more present this weekend! We missed a weekend of shooting outfits while on the east coast so I can’t wait to share new content Saturday. I have lots of new items to post for fall – can you believe the first day of autumn is September 22?! So soon! We also found out we will be moving sooner than expected so we are quickly planning dates for movers, car transportation, plane tickets, hotel reservations, address changes, etc. etc. etc. Phew!

1. NARS Translucent Powder. This pressed powder is my FAVORITE of all time. I’ve gone through so many I don’t even know the number anymore. It’s the only translucent powder I’ve found that stays matte all day and really sets the under eye area. I use a large fluffy brush and dust it all over after applying foundation and concealer.

2. Anastasia Clear Brow Gel. The quickest brow tool ever and I love it! There are many days I don’t do my eyebrows because they are rather dark and in and honestly, I’m just that lazy. So this clear brow gel is the perfect product because it keeps my eyebrows in place all day long so they look nice and tamed.

3. MAC Mineralize Powder. At first, I wasn’t sure I would hold on to this product because it didn’t keep my skin very matte. It does, however, create a beautiful sheen to the skin. Lately, I’ve been using it after I bake my under eye area and contour line with a loose translucent powder. I’ll put the mineralize powder on a small fluffy brush and dust off the loose powder while adding the mineralize that adds a touch of color. It helps to create a flawless contour and is also great for touch ups!
4. Tom Ford Bronzer Brush. This bronzer brush is AH-mazing! And it should be for what it costs. I splurged on this brush and the one below using my Nordstrom notes after their Anniversary Sale. The quality and feel are fantastic and it allows for a flawless finish. You’ll never use another bronzer brush again.

5. Tom Ford Blush Brush. The blush brush is equal in quality to the bronzer brush. I love how it deposits just the right amount of color on the apples of my cheeks. Again, it comes with a higher price tag than most brushes but they should last you forever as long as you take care of them. Lately, I’ve cleaned out my brushes and only kept the ones with the highest quality.

6. Beauty Blender. I haven’t used my Beauty Blender for foundation in the longest time but I do use it every single day to apply my loose powder when baking. The powder adheres nicely to the dry blender and the shape makes it easy to place under the eyes and to carve out a nice contour. If you don’t have one in your makeup kit, you need one!

7. YSL Blush in Baby Doll. The prettiest pink blush of all time! I’ve tried so many light pink blushes and this is by far my favorite. And it’s actually my second purchase since I let the original get old. I’ve been reaching for it every day and love that it actually goes onto the cheeks a lovely baby pink without creating any redness, as I’ve found some pinks do.

8. Bobbi Brown Eye Cream. I’ve heard hype about this eye cream for years. I never wanted to take the plunge but I finally did when replacing several cosmetics. I talked to the gentleman at the counter and asked, “Is this stuff really thatttt good?!” He said yes and explained you can actually use it under your concealer without smearing. And I have to agree that’s true. I’ve used it for two weeks under my makeup and love the way my concealer applies. Plus, it’s a great overall hydrating eye cream for day and night

9. MAC Lipstick in Blankety. This has become my go-to nude lipstick. It has a beautiful sheen and is perfect for the day to day. I wore it to a wedding recently and only had to reapply once, which I think is great for a non-matte lipstick after talking and eating all night. I have a feeling I will go through numerous tubes since the one I have already has a decent dent in it!

10. MAC Lipstick in Saint Germain. This is my fav baby pink lip right now. I love how it looks in photos and I’ve become comfortable enough to wear it day to day (I use to be super self-conscious wearing bright lipsticks). It’s a fabulous color to wear year round, especially with fall’s lighter colored clothing palettes this year.

11. Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer. This stuff is MAGIC! I’m not even kidding, this is the best concealer I have ever tried, and I have tried SO many. And when they say a little goes a long way, they truly mean it. When I saw the size of the container for what it costs, I almost sent it back, but then I realized a teeny tiny dot of product covers the entire undereye. AND it’s great for red or dark spots on the face too!

12. Charlotte Tilbury Mascara. Another amazing new find! This is the only mascara I’ve been using (with my eyelash primer) for weeks and I’m totally impressed with the thickening effect it creates. And it’s really long lasting… I might have fallen asleep in it twice and woke up with my mascara still on lol.
Have a fabulous weekend!
