For a fancier romper, this one is really comfy! It has elastic in the waist so you can get it on easily and move around without feeling constricted. I’m wearing the xs but could have sized down to the xxs. I would advise wearing true to size if you are blessed up top lol and sizing down if you’re not (like me). Mine still wears well at my normal size though! My favorite detail? The sleeves! I love a good bell sleeve and it definitely gives the romper a little something extra, along with the beautiful lace. Plus, the long sleeves make it a great transitional piece into Fall (AND it’s only $44!). 

I paired my lace wrap romper with a black wooden clutch! I LOVE how sleek the color is and that it gives it a dressier element you could easily take with you for a night out on the town. OR during the day so you can wear these sassy shades. I saw the glitter detailing and the square shape and I was sold! I also love the color because I don’t have anything like it in my accessory wardrobe. 

To finish off the look I chose a pair of comfy platform wedges (these would also be great for flared jeans!) in a neutral color that goes with just about anything. A nude-colored shoe makes the legs look so much longer and at 5’2″ I’ll take all the height I can get! You can wear them more dressed up like I did in this post or you can easily dress them down with jeans or shorts or a skirt. I bought mine true to size but would suggest sizing up a 1/2 size if you don’t have narrow/shallow feet like me.

If you’ve never shopped at or with francesca’s® you should absolutely check them out! It’s one of the few super cute, trendy stores we have here in our mall and I appreciate that SO much. They have tons of different styles to choose from and their inventory is constantly changing which means you will always find something fun and new. Like my raffia statement earrings! I remember shopping at francesca’s® back home in Kentucky during high school and college and always leaving with several new pieces of jewelry. Always.
