Country concerts seem to be in full swing again, and a concert look was requested by several of you on the gram. Right now, most of the venues are outside, so I wanted to share a western outfit that was both cute and warm. This week on What to Wear Where, I’m sharing a fall comfy country concert look that’s fun to wear, yet comfortable enough to keep you dancing all night long.

Fall Comfy Country Concert Look

If country music isn’t your thing, I still think you could wear this look to concerts with other genres of music. Concerts are a great excuse to wear fun and funky pieces from your wardrobe, like this fringe skirt. It’s a comfortable suede material with a little bit of spandex in it, so it moves with you. Instead of a fringe skirt, a suede or leather skirt would also work well. I paired a chunky, chenille sweater with the skirt and did a small front tuck. I added a Western-inspired belt to help define the waistline and give the look structure. The metal on the belt also breaks up the monochromatic color pallette.

Though these boots technically aren’t cowboy boots, they have a Western flare to them with the cutouts at the top and an exaggerated pointed toe. They’re a great option if you don’t necessarily want to invest in actual cowboy boots, but want something with a country vibe. You could also wear booties with this look. I love this pair with the chunky chain. They’re edgy and would be perfect with this look. I included a roundup of other boot options below that you could easily pair with this outfit.

Accessorizing a Country Look

Accessories always elevate any outfit, and the accessories in this look are no exception. I started with a flat brim felt fedora hat. It’s a great staple to have in your fall wardrobe because it pairs well with any outfit – not just Western -inspired. Look for hats with leather, snakeskin, metal or braided-ribbon detail as those give a Western-vibe without actually being a cowboy hat.

I finished the look with simple jewelry from David Yurman, and a slim quilted bag. I also love carrying a crossbody bag to a concert. Your hands are free, and you can wear it all night without it feeling heavy or bothersome. Plus it’s just a cute accessory to have. I think a snakeskin handbag or one with fringe detail would be fun too. Don’t forget your sunnies in case the sun is still out at the beginning of the concert.
