PHOTOGRAPHY: Cricket Maiden Photography

I purchased this green velvet ruffle skirt not long ago and immediately knew it would be perfect for Christmas. I don’t buy or wear a lot of green but I’ve always loved an emerald or evergreen coloring. And this skirt is so comfortable so you can dance, sit, and/or eat all night long. Plus, the ruffle detailing at the bottom gives it a little pizzaz and just the right amount of movement when you walk. 


It’s a great length for wearing with an otk boot too. I splurged on the pair I’m wearing but also linked a very similar dupe in SHOP THE POST that won’t break the bank and is usually on sale! They are great for keeping your legs warm when wearing mini skirts or dresses this time of year. 


My pom pom sweater is by far one of my favorite pieces I’ve acquired this season. If you’d asked me before if I would wear giant pom poms on my sweater, I would have probably said “no way.” But I absolutely LOVE it! The darker colored sweater with the dark poms keeps it from screaming too loudly and it’s just so comfortable to wear. It also looks amazing with skinny jeans and booties too.


I hope everyone has a fantastic Monday filled with coffee and productivity because y’all… Christmas is only EIGHT days away! I’m going to be running around town trying to finish up some errands and on the hunt for cute paper, bows, and boxes to wrap up all of my gifts!
