PHOTOGRAPHY: Cricket Maiden Photography

The oatmeal-colored mock neck sweater in today’s post was a piece I saw and immediately ordered. I love the texture and the design with the side slits and the oversized fit. I’d been on the lookout for sweaters to pair with mini skirts and this one exceeded my expectations. It’s the perfect length and design for a knit + mini pairing AND it’s really good quality (also comes in rust and navy blue)! 


My faux leather short skirt is almost sold out so I’ve included LOTS of other options under SHOP THE POST. There are tons of fun designs and brands to choose from. For a look like the one I’m sharing today, it looks best with a sleeker design without all the bells and whistles – although I do love the ruffles and zipper pulls! Just make sure when you’re pairing your sweater and skirt that you have enough length on your skirt or a sweater that isn’t too long so it doesn’t look like you forgot your pants hehe.


My oversized quilted bag is one of my favorite finds of the year but sadly the color sold out so fast and they’ve yet to bring it back (sigh). But I highly recommend it in black with gold hardware as I have that combo in the large size. I’m also loving this version (just ordered in beige)!
