Quite a while ago, I published a post sharing How To Tie A Blanket Scarf. Recently, I’ve gotten several questions about how to do it, so I thought I would update the post with an in-stock outfit and my favorite scarf for Fall. Who else is counting down the days until Pumpkin Spice Lattes?!Continue reading for the four easy steps I take to tie a blanket scarf!(keep in mind, you’ll want to make sure your blanket scarf is square.)

PLAID BLANKET SCARF: Madewell | WHITE TEE: BP. | SKINNY JEANS: Rag & Bone | HAT: Brixton | SUEDE SANDALS: BP. | TOTE: Tory Burch | SUNGLASSES: Karen Walker   PHOTOGRAPHY: Cricket Maiden Photography

I’ve been tying my blanket scarves this way for years now. It’s so easy, and keeps your scarf in place all day long. I love how it creates a nice triangular shape in the front and nice volume towards the neckline, which works really well if you’re wearing a cute coat as the weather gets cooler. The colors of this plaid blanket scarf make me want to go to a pumpkin patch ASAP. It looks darling with a basic white tee (this one is only $15) and a nice pair of skinnies. The skinny jeans I’m wearing were part of The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and oh em gee, are definitely worth the splurge, even at full price. They are quite comfy, true to size, and really versatile.I’m also happy to report my tote bag has been RESTOCKED.I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!
