Welcome back to Wear It Wednesday! I’m so excited to share today’s post because I’ve been planning on putting this outfit together for quite some time now. Back in March I went to Vegas with my girlfriends and purchased this olive midi skirt to wear with a crisscross crop top. I was shocked in the store that I would like anything with the word “midi” in it. I’m only 5’2″ and I never thought mid-calf pieces of apparel would look good on me. This one took me totally by surprise and once I got home I wanted to find other ways to wear it without looking so “Vegas.” I picked up this off the shoulder top during Nordstrom triple points and thought it would go perfectly. A looser fitting top like this with a shorter cut allows me to pull the skirt up a little higher making my legs look even longer. 

Unfortunately, my skirt is no longer available BUT I found two under $8…yes $8 that are super similar. My top, shoes, sunnies, etc. are all still in stock and linked above. Speaking of my shoes, these lace-up tan beauties are perfect for just about any and every look. They’re under $33 and work well for feet of different widths. I have shallow, narrow feet and they actually hold me in which is hard to come by. I also incorporated a little bit of jewelry into today’s look with the usual David Yurman pieces and some Alex and Ani bangles. A new piece I added to the stack is this gorgeous pink crystal link bracelet called the Beloved Bracelet. I love that it has the same peachy pink color as the top and gives just the right amount of sparkle.
