IBY Beauty: A Review

It’s finally Friday! Can I hear a “woo hoo!” I’ve been pretty busy this week with all sorts of stuff and I’m really glad for the weekend. Although I have lots of planning and organizing to do because Justin and I will be going out of town to the east coast for nine days super soon. Lots to do and I’m totally procrastinating. Funny how we know getting things done will help us feel better but we put it off anyways… sigh.

Today’s post is a fab one because I’m sharing some new beauty products from IBY Beauty. The brand approached me to review several of their cosmetics and I was happy to do it! I ended up pleasantly surprised and love the colors I was sent. I’ve already gotten tons of questions about the lipstick!

If you’ve been following me long then you know I’m a total beauty junkie and I love trying new products often! This also means I’m very picky about the things I like. And I have to say IBY Beauty has really surprised me. I can’t even choose a favorite because I love the way the look came together. I’m a sucker for a bright pink lip, a light pink cheek, and a sassy highlight, and that’s just what you get with the products I received. 

The mineral pressed blush is called passion pink. It’s an ultra-fine formulation that gives a sheer wash of color to the cheeks. It comes in four colors but this baby pink is hands down my fav. And you can layer the color if needed! 

I’ve gotten so many questions about the high-intensity lipstick after posting several pictures from the weekend on Instagram. It’s called crush and is the perfect pop of pink. It’s quite bright but I encourage you to give it a try. I love the way it looks worn with an all black outfit for a splash of color.  

Next to blush, highlighter is my favorite cosmetic product. IBY Beauty’s highlight in bubbly has a tint of pinky peach that looks beautiful paired with the pink passion blush. I’ve been wearing it non-stop on the high points of my cheeks, nose, above my eyebrows, and on my cupid’s bow. So pretty!

And lastly, I tested out the eye liner pencil in espresso. I normally wear a black liquid liner to create a cat eye but I really like a simple swipe of dark brown for more casual days. It’s a totally different look and I’m not mad about it. I primed and powdered my eyelids and didn’t see any smearing when I wore it out.
