march favorites

It’s hard to believe tomorrow is the first day of April! Where in the world did March go?! I’m hoping we’re finally done with the surprise snowstorms and all the cold weather because I’m SO ready to wear my Spring clothes for more than just try-on sessions on Instagram. This weekend we’re hosting Justin’s dad for his birthday and are planning for a relaxing Easter Sunday. I’m making deviled eggs and we have more candy than three people should ever eat lol.

Since it’s the last day of the month I thought I’d share my March favorites. Some you’ve seen before and some that are new to the scene like my new luxury-like black quilted bag (mine is the large size), and affordable chic black sunglasses. You’ll also find lots of beauty favs, including a lot of new lippies. I’ve been obsessed lately with a nude lip and this liner called Pillowtalk is literally perfect. I don’t know exactly what it is, but it just makes your lipstick look better. I paired it with Bosom Friend (another new nude lipstick) and it’s like they were made to go together! On top, I’ve been wearing Boy Bait which is a really pretty, and versatile, nude gloss. It’s a cremesheen so it’s not quite as sticky as most MAC glosses. I also got lots of questions about my lip combo yesterday which was Boy Bait paired with Kim K.W. – the prettiest pinky nude! The packaging of this lipstick is gorgeous and it’s a beautiful formulation.

I also picked up a new eyeshadow, blush, and wipes while visiting my local MAC counter. Last Dance is a gorgeous peachy pink shimmer shadow that seriously pops on the lid (especially if you spray your brush with Fix+ first). I wore it by itself on the lid yesterday and had several requests for the color. My new blush obsession is Full Fuschia and at first glance, you’re probably thinking, “Woah! That’s one bright blush!” And yes, it’s definitely a vibrant shade but with a very light hand, it applies beautifully! If I use too much, I apply a pretty pink highlighter or blush over top and it works well to tone it down and add a nice sheen. The wipes are FAB! They reformulated the original version with micellar water AND the packaging is pink! Surprisingly, I like them even better than the original as they have a wetter consistency for better removal of makeup.

I’m heading to Ulta today for a fun product launch I’ll be sharing live on Instagram and then plan on enjoying the Easter holiday by sleeping in, and eating an absurd amount of sugar before Pure Barre boot camp starts on Monday.

Have a wonderful weekend with your family & friends!
