I love the sale for several reasons: (1) you have the chance to shop BRAND NEW fall merchandise at a sale price before the season begins (2) it’s an amazing time to stock up on wardrobe basics you’re sure to wear on repeat (i.e. skinny jeans, neutral cardigans, suede booties, etc.) (3) it’s a preview into fall trends like patterns, fabrics, shapes, & styles (4) they also offer sales on beauty & home items

PREVIEW MY PRE-SALE FAVORITES

BP. LACE CAMI

This cami will, without a doubt, be one of the most sought after items this year. Last year, they had one similar in solid colors and you literally couldn’t get your hands on it after the first day of early access. I’m planning to purchase the leopard and the black dot patterns to go underneath cardigans this fall… & it also comes in black, white, and a black/pink floral. Should run tts!

NARS HOT TROPIC LIP GLOSS SET

This set of glosses is a no brainer for me! I’ve actually been on the hunt for a brighter orange-toned lip gloss and this set has the perfect shade! Plus three other amazing pinks & neutrals you can wear well into fall and winter. It’s an amazing value as normally one Nars gloss would cost you $24.

KURT GEIGER LONDON BAG

So my mom and I are at odds about this bag (I love it, she hates it) but the jury is out until I see it in person on Wednesday morning. I mean, I love the leopard detailing and the chunky gold details. I’m a sucker for a chain strap bag and it has a lot of room inside for anything and everything you could need. It’s also a brand I’ve never purchased before so I’m excited to get my eyes on it.



TREASURE & BOND SNAKESKIN WOOL PANAMA HAT

This amazing wool Panama hat is such a good deal at $38.90! I love a good neutral wool hat for fall and this one is totally different from anything I already have. The snakeskin detailing is perfect (& very on trend) and I’m obsessed with the color because it will pair well with creams and blacks.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to invest in basics! Pieces you’ll wear over and over, year after year. And an over the knee boot is something you’ll definitely want on your list. This year there are several to choose from but I particularly love this tan suede boot from Sam Edelman (also comes in red snakeskin and black leather). It’s a classic style in a neutral color you can wear over skinny jeans, with sweater dresses, coupled with a mini skirt… a must-have for me!

TORY BURCH EVERLY MINI BAG

My mom and I decided quickly we are both getting this bag in pink. It’s the perfect shade of blush and the chain hardware & style are perfect for running around town. It also comes in black, blue, and cognac but you all know I can’t pass up pink. There is also a version of this bag in a tote! 

RAG & BONE DENIM CATE SKINNY ANKLE

This is supposed to be “THE JEAN” of the sale! The last couple of years the big seller has been from AG, but it looks like the Cate is going to be this year’s denim star. And I can definitely see why. They are an amazing, versatile dark wash, with no distressed (so you can easily dress them up) and an inseam (27″) that should work for most. Another must-have anniversary sale staple!

BAREFOOT DREAMS INTO THE WILD THROW

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen this leopard throw in every mirror photo. They are so good I bought a second last year in a different color, and plan to buy a third this year! I really want the traditional brown & black leopard for my office. They are absolutely the most comfortable, best quality throws I’ve ever owned and are well worth the money (and even wash well!).

 BP. LONG JACQUARD LEOPARD CARDIGAN

Last, but certainly not least, this leopard cardigan is going to go FAST! I know I’m not the only one with an affinity for leopard print and it’s such a fun pattern to pair with a white tee, skinnies, and booties for fall. I would encourage anyone interested to buy it quickly!

QUICK NOTE: I’ve had a couple requests, when I asked what you all wanted to see from the sale, for summer outfits, but the Anniversary Sale is primarily FALL MERCH that is brand new and on sale early before it goes back to full price August 5th. It’s the best sale to stock up on cool weather essentials and staples you can even start wearing now like basic tees and booties!
