One Top, Two Trends

I’ve been loving so many trends this season. Bell sleeves, pops of pink, teddy bear materials, ruffles, and oversize knits. Today I wanted to share a gorgeous olive guilded top that combines two of my favorite trends… bell sleeves and ruffles. The detailing is perfect for a casual look or more dressed up for a holiday party. Or a mix of both with a bright pump like I’ve styled it in these photos. It’s a great top to have on hand for any occasion (and also comes in black, ivory, and pink)!

I paired my ruffle hem bell sleeve top with a dark wash flare jean which keeps it casual but gives it a dressy edge. Flared jeans are another trend I just can’t get enough of. Especially when I don’t have to hem them like the pair (only $29) shown. I found a second pair that is super similar and would look almost identical if you were to recreate this look. I highly recommend adding a pair to your closet if you don’t already have some! And if you hadn’t already figured it out, I’m obsessed with these suede pink pumps and my pink aviators – together it’s a winning combo! I love them worn with the olive guilded top because of the color contrast and it would also make a fantastic outfit for spring. Which means you’ll really get your money’s worth. 

Another thing I love about this top is that it’s under $50 which means you can buy it in multiple colors! For trendy items, I always try to keep price points in check… and I’m also a huge fan of its machine wash material. You all have heard me say it many times – I loathe hand washing (mostly because I  never know what I’m doing lol). If you wanted to be a little more casual you could wear this top with skinny jeans and booties, or more dressed up with cropped skinnies, a statement earring, and nude heels.
