Is it Monday again?! I hate how that happens haha – you’re just gearing up for the weekend and relaxation when all of a sudden Monday rears its ugly head. But the show must go on!

Today’s post may be my favorite of all time, because it features my favorite lady of all time. I feel so fortunate to have such amazing parents and so thankful they came to spend Easter weekend with me (plus the pups – check out pardonmuahinsta for a picture of our Easter walk). We enjoyed some much needed quality time, while relaxing and eating wayyy too much junk food. We also watched the final four game and I almost cried at the end (still love my cats). I never get emotional about basketball – I never really get that emotional period – but the game had me feeling so sad knowing how hard they’ve worked all season…38 undefeated games!

SO to brighten the mood we went to Easter brunch at one of our favorite restaurants and had a wonderful meal and mimosas. Plus we got to dress up and make Dad our official photographer! I always love a good excuse to take pictures and to pull out some fun fashion pieces. I feel like I blinked and it was time for them to leave…I always feel lonely after I visit or they come to visit me. Takes me a couple of days to get back into my independent rhythm. And back into work mode which is usually even harder.

Tomorrow’s post will be an extension of Easter – I’ll be showing my fabulous Easter basket that my parents put together. I was so impressed and excited! I think they outdid themselves this year.

I hope you also had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends and fur babies!
XO Amanda
