Good Morning Beautiful People!

Today is Thursday and it’s the fourth day of Holiday Preview week. If you haven’t heard, one of the best times of the year starts tomorrow, and that’s Sephora VIB Rouge First Access. This is where you get rewarded for shopping at Sephora (a lot) with 20% off for four days on any and all purchases. Never fear, if you aren’t Rouge, VIB Insiders will also have a discounted window coming soon.

For those of you who are Rouge or are looking for amazing beauty finds, you will see my list below. Most of the items I’m buying this years are repurchases, because it saves me money on things I would buy anyways. Some of the items listed are just wishes on my list or things I feel like you all would love. I’ve also included all of these items at the bottom of the post so you can easily shop!

1/2. Shampoo & Conditioner I’ve been on the hunt for a new shampoo & conditioner combo for a while. These pretty pink bottles caught my eye while I was perusing Sephora online for what to buy during the first access event. These are new products to the Moroccan Oil line and are offered in two scents. The ratings were quite positive and I adore the smell of Moroccan Oil products! These are already in my shopping cart and I cannot wait to tell you what I think.

3. Translucent Powder Best powder ever for baking! The best! I don’t use anything else to set my under eye and contour line. This product lasts for a very long time and helps your makeup to really stay in place all day long. I’ve tried using it as an all over powder, but much prefer it for a bright under eye.

4. Mascara I’ve talked about this mascara so many times and for years now, it’s the only mascara I use on my lower lashes. It’s the only mascara I’ve used that doesn’t transfer and smudge under my eyes throughout the day and it’s very long wearing. I highly, highly recommend!

5. Foundation Lately, I’ve been using one of two foundations…one being drugstore and the other being high-end. And although I love those products, I like to switch things up and have been yearning for a different foundation. The first access event is a great time to buy higher end products, because you usually can’t see the cost savings any other time of the year. I’ve previously used Nude Air and absolutely loved it – can’t wait to start using it again! It’s a very fluid, light formula that has great coverage!

6. Liquid Liner This is the only eyeliner I use. Not kidding. It is the longest wearing, blackest, most matte liner I’ve ever found! I’ve gone through at least six of these and will continue to buy over and over. I’m stocking up on two Friday!

7. Setting Spray I’ve been using this setting spray for well over a year now and love it (it doens’t irritate my sensitive skin). I do feel like it adds to the longevity of my makeup and I use it in combination with this. During the holidays Sephora sells a pack of two all nighter sprays and it’s well worth the savings!

8. Lip Balm Okay, just trust me on this one. Buy this! You will not regret your purchase. And I know what you’re thinking…it’s an overpriced lip balm…right? Wrong. This lip balm will change your lips! It smells of roses (which I normally dislike, but love in this case), and it’s incredibly hydrating. This lip balm is the highest quality lip product and is perfect for use at night, or all day long during the winter months. A must have!

9. Mascara & Liner Set If I’m not using a drugstore mascara, this is my go-to! It rivals Too Faced’s Better Than Sex mascara and really, can you go wrong with Marc Jacobs beauty?…Nope! And the best part about this gift set is that you also get an black gel eyeliner. I’ve never purchased anything from Marc Jacobs that I didn’t love. The brushes are also amazing!

10. Eye Shadow Palette Unfortunately, this little baby won’t make it into my shopping cart, because this girl has to pay bills (oh reality). But if I could purchase any palette this year, it would be this one! How amazing is this for travel?! It’s almost everything you need in one – bronzer, highlighter, blush and eyeshadow! And that packaging is to die for.

11. Straightener A lot of you ask what tool I use on my hair and this is it! It’s on the expensive side, but for good reason. It does a great job of straightening and smoothing, and has bevelled sides, perfect for making beautiful waves. This is normally the only hair tool I use, other than my blow dryer. Make sure to get it during the event so you can save some money!

12. Brush Set OMG…can we talk about this bedazzled brush set? How would a girl say no? This is Sephora luxury at its best and would make a great stocking stuffer. I probably won’t buy this for myself, since my list is already quite extensive, but if you do, let me know what you think!

13. Blush Palette I own the earlier version of this palette and it’s a win for sure. The color payoff is fantastic, the quality is superior to most, and the new marble packaging is amazing! You can use the powders in different ways too. For highlighting, an all over powder, bronzer and blush!

14. Shimmer Palette I was shocked and very pleased when I saw that Bobbi Brown came out with this trio of shimmer bricks! Now you don’t have to choose which one to buy and it’s limited edition so be sure to get it while you can.

15. Makeup Bag I went on and on about this makeup bag when I saw it in Sephora’s holiday preview catalog. Justin was like, “I don’t get it, it’s just a bag” hahaha. I mean, look at that sparkle! This would make a great gift, especially if you hid some goodies inside!
Thanks for stopping by and happy shopping!
