sephora spring sale

If you didn’t know, Sephora is having their Spring Sale for Rouge members, VIB, and Beauty Insiders and you can make as many purchases as you want with your discount until Monday, May 6. The breakdown of the membership levels and discount percentage are below:

Sephora doesn’t have sales often and they used to only do this at Christmas time. So now is the time to stock up on your favorite products and to try something (or a lot of things) new! I sure did! Please don’t judge me for the excessive amount of shopping I did (hehe)… I did a massive makeup, hair, and skincare cleanout this past week so I had space to fill and lots of tutorials planned coming soon!

Keep reading to find out what I bought and why – I tried to put things in order of category to make it a little bit easier (i.e. makeup to skin to hair… and all types together like lipgloss).

MILK MAKEUP WATERMELON BRIGHTENING SERUM || I’ve been on a skincare crusade this year to find products that truly brighten and illuminate. One of my readers told me she LOVES this product so I definitely wanted to give it a go. It’s designed to use all over the face and has the prettiest pink coloring and beautiful clear packaging.

IT COSMETICS CONFIDENCE IN A FOUNDATION (medium natural) || I purchased this foundation after seeing a review that it gives very full coverage. I was pleasantly surprised when the formula was well-covering but also lightweight since the two normally don’t go together.

IT COSMETICS BYE BYE UNDER EYE CONCEALER (light natural) || I’ve been using this illuminating full-coverage anti-aging waterproof concealer for two weeks now and love the coverage! This would be perfect for any brides out there because it should be warm weather, sweat, and cry proof. The illuminating properties keep it full-coverage but not cakey.

FENTY BEAUTY  PRO FILT’R POWDER (lavender) || This powder is SO good! It comes in several different colors – I purchased lavender to use as undereye baking powder (the purple tint gives a brighter appearance). I love the packaging because it’s less messy and not as thick as the one I have by Laura Mercier. For days I want to use this powder but not bake, I snagged the FENTY BEAUTY SETTING POWDER BRUSH. Oh my goodness! So so soft! And really good quality.

HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING POWDER (diffused light) || I cannot say enough good things about Hourglass cosmetics. Their products are very high quality and designed to give the skin a flawless finish. For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been using a palette that contains diffused light and love the way it sets my under eye concealer. It mattifies the concealer and there is just enough luminosity to really bring the undereye to life.

FENTY BEAUTY SUN STALK’R BRONZER (private island) || I was so impressed with the Fenty Beauty powder that I ended up with several other products from the line. The first bronzer I bought was Island Ting but it was way too dark for my liking (and I love bronzer) so I went in-store and exchanged for private island which is a beautiful true tan hue (not too orange or red). To go with, I grabbed the FENTY BEAUTY BRONZER BRUSH which is super soft and a smaller condensed brush great for getting color right where you want it.

FENTY BEAUTY DIOMAND BOMB (how many carats?!) || Alright, if you’re a highlight girl and you appreciate a lot of sparkle, you will die over this all-over diamond veil. You can use it all over your shoulders and decolletage for a fun summer event, and/or you can use it on your face as a highlight. I basically just want to bathe in it haha.

NATASHA DENONA CHROMA CRYSTAL TOP COAT (nude) || Fun fact: I hardly ever wear eye shadow. I actually can’t even think of the last time I wore eye shadow. I always use my bronzer as a crease shade and that’s about it! BUT I’ve been loving the new sparkle trend in eye shadow. I’ve seen it a lot on American Idol actually and have been dying for a similar look. It’s a sparkle that is noticeable but sheer and chic. I got this top coat in nude and feel like it will be a fun everyday lid topper.

LANEIGE LIP SLEEPING MASK || I’ve heard such good things about this lip sleeping mask but wasn’t sure whether it would work well for me. I have very sensitive lips so I have to be really careful when buying balms because the weirdest ingredients cause me grief. Fortunately, no issues with this! It’s an incredible formula – a superrrr buttery soft consistency that doesn’t slip off the lips while you sleep, stays on all night, and feels amazing.
MARC JACOBS ENAMORED LIPGLOSS (sugar sugar + cream and sugar) || The formulation of this lip gloss is one of my favorites! I also own it in Rio which is a super pretty Barbie pink. These glosses are nice and opaque with a thicker consistency that stays on really well but isn’t sticky. Sugar Sugar is a cult favorite and the most beautiful nude. While Cream and Sugar is a similar tone but slightly lighter with a sparkle (I ended up ordering MARC JACOBS POUTLINER LONGWEAR LIP LINER PENCIL in cream and sugar as well!).

YVES SAINT LAURENT VOLUPTE LIQUID COLOR BALM (night rehab) || I’ve owned this balm before (it’s really a gloss but a lighter formula) and it’s the most beautiful light pink! It’s super easy to apply, an “everyday” shade, and smells like candy! I really like to use this in the morning after my skincare routine because it’s hydrating but not thick.

DIOR ADDICT LIP MAXIMIZER PLUMPING GLOSS (light pink) || A lot of you have probably seen or used this product before. It’s one of my favorite plumping glosses because it doesn’t sting your lips. It has a slight tingle but nothing alarming and the slight pink tint makes it easily wearable as a gloss by itself.

SMASHBOX ALWAYS SHARP LIP LINER (nude fair) || I’ve been on the hunt for a light pink liner forever that is actually light pink and not mauve or nude. I tried this in-store and loved it but sadly they were sold out, so I decided to snag is since it’s sale time. So excited!

FARSALI ROSE GOLD SKIN MIST || SO MANY great reviews coming in about this product after I shared it on Instagram stories. It’s a mist designed to give the skin a beautiful glow (the bottle has gorgeous gold flakes) and to really bring your makeup to life (a good skin mist will help the products you used to blend nicely into the skin).

BEAUTY BLENDER PRETTY IN PINK TRIO || I found this set in-store and was so pleased because when I originally checked it was sold out online. I use a beauty blender daily for baking under my contour and have been in need of another. This set comes with three different shades of pink!

JO MALONE LONDON COLOGNE (blueberry & bay + nectarine blossom & honey|| I’ve been interested in trying Jo Malone for some time now. And after smelling one of my friends at the RS Conference wearing Nectarine Blossom & Honey I had to try it for myself. I ended up buying one 1 oz bottle of that, and one of Blueberry & Bay to see which I like best. I’ve also heard people mix them a lot so I’m going to try that as well!

SOL JANEIRO COCO CABANA CREAM || The original SOL Janeiro fragrance is absolutely yummy – it seriously smells like coconuts and the beach. This year they came out with Coco Cabana Cream, and it’s even better (at least to me). It has notes of coconut, caramel, praline, marshmallow, honey, and toasted vanilla latte! I mean… does it get any better?! This body cream is designed to leave lasting hydration and a scent you’re sure to smell all day.

SOL JANEIRO SAMBA MAMA || This trio is an amazing deal! You receive a full-size body fragrance mist, and a 2.5 oz body cream, and a 1.7 oz hand cream which is less than the cost of the full-size body cream alone.

GLOW RECIPE WATERMELON GLOW SLEEPING MASK || I’ve had my eye on this mask for months and found a mini 1 oz in-store so I decided to give it a try. One of the Sephora employees told me she has the moisturizer and loves the smell… and Y’ALL… it smells EXACTLY LIKE A JOLLY RANCHER.

TAN-LUXE THE BODY AND THE FACE || Recently, I’ve heard quite a few other bloggers talk about Tan-Luxe products, specifically The Body and The Face illuminating self-tan drops. They are designed to use with your favorite moisturizer or body lotion for added color. Some use these fully for self-tanner, but I plan to use them for maintenance daily as my self-tanner starts to fade. For The Face, I also purchased a black-colored BEAUTY BLENDER for the application so my hands don’t turn as orange.

GHD GLIDE PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE HOT BRUSH || For a while now I’ve been very intrigued with the new hot brush trend. They are basically like a straightener but better – you literally use it just like a hairbrush but it heats up and straightens & smooths like a straightener. This is a newer product so there was only one review online… but that one review was amazing and I LOVE GHD so I cannot wait to receive and share. I’ve been trying to straighten my hair less (that’s why I use hot rollers a lot) so I’m hoping this brush will be a great two-in-one find.
