A special Thursday post is coming your way today. Face It Friday came early this week and I’m sharing an incredibly cool hair care product. I get so many questions about what tools, creams, color, and sprays I use so I thought you all would enjoy! I recently tried out Style Edit’s Blonde Perfection Root Touch-Up and Concealer and think it’s something you guys will absolutely love, especially if you color your hair. And don’t stop reading if you’re a brunette or red head because they make these products for you too.

As you can see above, I tried the Blonde Perfection Root Touch-Up For Blondes (small container) as well as the Blonde Perfection Root Concealer For Blondes (spray can). I tested out both on my hair, but am showing a before and after using the Root Touch-Up. I love how easy it is to use and that it’s small enough to take on the go (see the picture in purse above) or for travel. I originally thought I would need the dark blonde, but ended up using the medium blonde. Light is obviously very light, and the medium is a tanner blonde, while dark blonde has a lot more gold. I could definitely use the brunette touch-up as well, but for summer, I love how the medium blonde gives my hair an instant sun-kissed look. Plus, I can use it to touch-up my blonde balayage for photos or special occasions (isn’t that cool?!).

You might be wondering what is and isn’t in these products so let me tell you (verbiage was taken from Style Edit):
What’s in it:  Both have multi-chromatic pigments for self-adjusting color that matches your signature hue and blends visible unwanted roots. + Root Touch-Up has a color binding complex with unique adhering agents that glides over roots and locks color into place in just one swipe.

What’s NOT in it: Peroxide, ammonia, or any harsh or permanent dyes. Not tested on animals.

I’m scared to actually type this, but I’ve been getting so many grey hairs, you guys! And every time I see one I stop whatever I’m doing to quickly pluck it out. But you know what, those slippery little greys are 10 times harder to get a hold of them regular hairs. Ughh…wouldn’t you know it? So another great use for the Root Touch-Up and Concealer is that I can easily swipe some color over the hair or all of my roots, and leave the house feeling confident a sneaky grey hair won’t be shining in the summer sunlight. And as I get older (and get more greys…yikes!), it will help me to extend my hair coloring treatments, because those sure aren’t cheap! And I have to say, the adorable pink packaging is a win.
