What to Wear Where is about styling thoughtfully curated looks for specific events or occasions. For this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I released my first ever shopper’s guide called The Icon. And to me, this is a W2WW tool you can refer back to throughout the fall and winter months to give you ideas and inspiration to dress your best for specific events throughout these seasons. So today, we’re talking about styling fall outfits using The Icon.

For a look back on past What to Wear Where posts, you can find those all HERE.

What to Wear Where: Fall Outfits

These outfits are included in The Icon along many other fall and winter looks.

Workwear Look

Business professional workwear look featuring this neutral blazer and flare trousers. Make it a monochromatic outfit with these nude pumps that you can style with multiple outfits for work, date night or other special occasions.

Concert Look

Sing the night away with your favorite band or musician in this ultra chic look. These faux leather leggings are a wardrobe staple to dress up like this styled look or wear more casually with sneakers. The hunter green bag is a gorgeous color to carry throughout the fall and winter, and think it’s going to be one of my go-to colors once the weather cools down.

Date Night Look

For a fun date night look, pair wide-leg jeans with a flirty off-the-shoulder white top. This top would also pair well with a suede mini skirt. Finish the look with these darling platform heeled sandals. I love when a heel has a high platform to make the heel not so exaggerated on your foot. They’re way more comfortable typically!

Fall Festival

Whether you’re headed to the pumpkin patch or a fall festival, this causal look is perfect for those cool fall days. Layer a longline cardigan over a tank or tee and finish the look with a pair of neutral booties. A pair of straight leg jeans with little-to-no distressing is a great staple bottom to have in your cool-weather wardrobe. Because these are a medium wash with no distressing, you can dress them up or down easily.

Shopping Day Look

For a fun shopping day with your friends or mom, this outfit will make you feel chic yet comfortable. These mules where in last year’s sale, but love the updated look of them. They come in multiple colors and are very comfortable. I also think this outfit would make a good travel outfit. However, I’d suggest bringing a tote bag along instead of the smaller bag pictured for a travel day.
