The Best Jacket From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Okay, I’m going to start this post off by saying I know it’s the end of July and well over 100 degrees in some places. Yes, I was sweating taking these photos and got some interesting looks… but you do what you gotta do for the blog. I literally could not resist taking photos in this incredible leopard faux fur jacket from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s been super popular so I wanted to share it before it completely sells out (make sure to keep stalking the site for returns!). 

I styled it with a simple black dress (there is one that is super similar on sale right now), a small tote (one of my top five sale buys), oversized sunnies, and an incredible pair of glitter block heel ankle strap sandals under $30 (yes, I bought rose gold too… how do you not?!)

This leopard faux fur jacket is one of my top five buys from the sale. I knew I wanted it but I didn’t know how much I would love it until I, one, touched it, and two, tried it on. I wish I could put into words how soft and cuddly this coat really is. It’s under $80 and very well made which is shocking to me for such a beautiful fall/winter staple. Usually, good coats for less are hard to find! As most of you know I’m a huge fan of leopard print, and could not be happier to now own such a fabulous statement piece in my closet. 

I love the jacket paired with a neutral outfit because it’s definitely the star of the show. I did, however, add a pair of glitter block heels I just purchased in black and rose gold. I actually own five pairs of these ankle strap sandals in different colors because they are the most comfortable I’ve ever found, and less than $30. I feel like I should stock up on more for next year just in case they don’t carry them again – and I wear the ones I have all the time. 

My dress is old, but there is a super similar version on sale as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The only difference is that the sale version has a 3/4 sleeve. I’ve also linked above and below several dresses that have a short sleeve or no sleeves you could absolutely wear now. Wearing a sleek, form-fitting dress works well with the jacket since it adds additional volume to the look.

I know the sale has been crazy this year – so many items flying off the racks both in-store and online. But there are still some amazing buys to be had. It’s sort of fun – hunting down what you want and stalking items as people do returns… or maybe that’s just me haha!
