It’s that time of year to break out your sequins, plaid, faux fur and pops of red! Holiday parties are so much fun to dress up for because you can wear all things sparkly. Today I’m sharing what to wear to an office holiday party. But spoiler – you could wear it to any holiday party you’re attending. It’s versatile, beautiful and oh-so chic.

What to Wear to an Office Holiday Party

If you have a holiday office party coming up, decide what you’re going to wear now. That way, you don’t have to think about it last minute.

Shine Bright with a Sequin Top

This long sleeve sequin top in the color “disco” is the perfect mix of conservative meets holiday. Since it’s an office party, I love that it’s modest yet playful with the sequins. It has a straight cut fit and comes in another multi-color version too. It runs a tad big. I’m wearing my true size XS. If you’re between, I’d suggest going down a size.

I think this would be beautiful to wear on New Year’s Eve too, paired with a leather skirt and crystal-embellished heels.

Balance the Outfit with Black Ankle Pants

These black ankle pants can take you from day to night. Because the top has a straight shape, I paired a form-fitting ankle pant to balance the look. If your holiday party is directly after work, you could wear these to the office during the day. Then, you’ll only need to do a quick change of your blouse before the party.

The ankle pants run true to size, and I’m wearing a 0SP. They’re a high-rise with a wrinkle-resistant material, which is perfect for traveling too. They come in five other colors and are incredibly flattering. It’s nice when pants come in different lengths for a better fit for a variety of body types. The petite length is a 26.5″ inseam while the regular fit is a 29″ inseam.

Add Festive Flare with Red Pumps

The holidays are a perfect time to break out your red pumps. Whether you’re wearing them to the office, a party or out to dinner, they make a festive statement. These heels run true to size for me, and I have a narrow foot. The black ankle pants are great to wear with these because the pants allow the shoes to really shine.

Stay Cozy and Warm with a Faux Fur Coat

This coat was included in last week’s What to Wear Where, and had to include for this week too because it’s the perfect coat to dress up or down. Faux fur is a great material to wear throughout the winter season because it’ll keep you toasty warm.

This STELLA coat comes in 10 other colors, but love the black because it pairs well with most anything. I’m wearing a small, but could have done my normal XS, so it runs true to size.

Finish the Look with a Playful Plaid Print

Besides the sequins and the pops of red, plaid is a quentestial holiday print. I incorporated the pattern into my headband, and it also features a little sparkle. Other fun ways to add plaid to your look are to wear it on your shoes, clutch or a blazer.
