Today on What to Wear Where, I have another great workwear look that’s perfect for when you need a light jacket. I’m sharing what to wear to the office in the spring.

What to Wear to the Office in the Spring

The star of the show this week is definitely this affordable trench. I talk a lot about must-have outerwear for different seasons. In the winter, I love to keep a puffer, wool coat and teddy coat in my closet, so I have options, depending on where I’m going.

For the springtime, a trench coat is a great staple to have as far as outerwear goes for the season. It’s lightweight and looks so chic. You can dress this up for work like I did here or you can wear with denim or a loungeset too.

My exact trench coat is only available in a plus size online at the moment. But I bet the other sizes will be coming soon. I found mine in-store. This trench is very similar to the one I’m wearing and has more availability in sizing. I’m wearing an XS, which is my true size.

Underneath the trench, I’m wearing an everyday poplin shirt. It has an oversized fit and longer in length. I opted to tuck the shirt into my trousers for a more structured look. However, you could also wear this shirt untucked with leggings or denim for a more casual outfit. I’m wearing an XXS, so I sized down one in this.

OK these pants are the BEST workwear pants EVER. They’re incredibly comfortable with amazing stretch, yet look like a structured pant. The pants feature a front-fly closure, belt loops, front pockets and a zipper on each inside ankle. Plus they’re also wrinkle-resistant, which is a dream if you’re sitting part or most of the day at work.

I’m wearing the color “Saddle” and also have them in black. In addition to those two colors, they come in 6 other beautiful colors too. I’m wearing my true size 0PS. If you’re 5’4″ or under, it’s recommended to get the short length.

For shoes, I kept it simple with a neutral pump. I love a versatile neutral for the spring season. These will go with most anything for work like dresses, skirts and pants. They’re also comfortable for a heel. I’m wearing my true size 7 in these and fit perfect.

I also accessorized with my go-to square sunnies. They’re a great neutral color and look good on all face shapes.
