Hello, Friends and Happy Thursday! I can’t believe it’s already the end of the week – they always go so quickly when you need them to seriously slow down. I’ll be traveling half of next week and this girl needs more time to plan and pack. I hope you were able to read yesterday’s special SHOPBOP Event of The Season sale post… so many amazing pieces at 20-25% off! I snagged a couple things that should be arriving today so I plan to share them Friday on Instagram. 

 For today’s post, I wanted to talk a little bit, okay a lot a bit, about the LiketoKnow.it App. Many of you have probably heard of LiketoKnow.it before or even already utilize it, but for those of you who don’t, I’d love to tell you why it’s such a valuable tool for you, and for me!

LiketoKnow.it has been around for a while now, sending out fab outfit detail emails when you “like” photos of your fav influencers on Instagram. Previously, in the most basic sense, (once you sign up for LiketoKnow.it)… you would “like” a photo on Instagram and then boom! you’d receive an email with all of the details to click and shop. But there’s been an IMPORTANT change: IG and Facebook recently (very recently) reported they will be limiting third party access within their platforms in an effort to protect user information, which means “liking” for emails no longer works. 

 But never fear, LTK was ahead of the game and one, enabled screenshot technology so now you can “screenshot” and boom! an email comes with all the important outfit info. And two, they designed the LiketoKnow.it App available for both iPhone AND Android users! 

 No joke, I shop 90% of the time now using the app because it’s so easy and everything is in one place. You can easily FOLLOW influencers, much like Instagram, and then they’re outfits and LTK enabled Instagram posts automatically show up in your feed. You can also “search” for influencers on the app, and find new gals and guys you’ll absolutely love. 

 Following influencers like myself and downloading the app to interact and shop is crucial to our survival (it sounds dramatic but it’s very true). One of the main ways bloggers/influencers make money is through commissionable links that we insert into both our blogs and Instagram posts. When you click and purchase through these links we see a small percentage come through as commission. This is a huge part of how we make a living and we are SO thankful for all of the support and love via the LiketoKnow.it app! We invest an incredible amount of time and effort (and love) into the looks we share, the tips & tricks we publish, the tutorials we film, etc. etc. etc. 

 There are so many perks of the app, and from what I can see, no downside. All you have to do is download and then when you want to shop or see an outfit you love on Instagram (from an influencer who uses LTK) you simply head on over for all the details. No emails or notifications if you don’t want them. And if you do, OR you want Instagram photos to quickly show up on the main feed of the app, just screenshot! It’s that easy!
