Spring is on the horizon, and so is wedding season! Whether a meadowy wildflower print, bold blooming pattern, or something more dainty, floral prints are always on-trend and are the perfect stylish solution to ALL your wedding guest wardrobe needs! On today’s edition of What to Where Wear, we’re talking ALL THINGS How to Wear a Floral Print to Spring Weddings, so you can snag the title of best-dressed guest on this spring’s wedding circuit!

If you missed last week’s W2WW blog post, I featured a What to Wear to Lunch as We Transition to Spring look, that features the perfect balance of light layers and on-trend pieces.

This floral print high-neck ruffle dress is as fun to wear as it is beautiful. The bold colors mixed with the floral print make this dress a show-stopper. It has the ruffle detail along the bottom and comes up all along the sleeves, making it feel extra feminine and classic.

Because it’s a shift-style dress, it not only moves well on the dance floor but is bump-friendly too! For size reference, this dress runs true to size, and I’m wearing a 0.

I styled the dress with a pair of ultra-chic hot pink heels with rhinestone embellishments. Those details make such a statement and are the perfect event shoe. My exact shoe is no longer in stock, but I linked another gorgeous Schutz option. They’re a great go-to brand for on-trend, stylish dressy shoes, like pumps and high-heeled sandals.

If the wedding is outdoors, don’t forget your sunglasses. These are one of my favorite pairs because they look great on all face shapes. I also love the neutral brown, which compliments a variety of looks. To complete the look, I styled the YSL Medium Kate chain bag with the dress. It fits all the necessities, and pairs well with most colors.

For more formal weddings, try to stick to floor-length dresses with floral prints. I think you can still wear any color florals, bold or muted, to a formal wedding. Below I rounded up some of my favorites right now. If you’re unsure if the wedding is formal, cocktail attire, or another type of dress code, I’d refer to the couple’s wedding website or invitation. If neither includes that information, then you can ask the maid/matron of honor, if she knows what the dress code will be.

If the wedding is cocktail attire, you can wear a midi or above-the-knee dress. Details that create a more dressed-up feel have standout details throughout the dress. Whether that’s ruffles, one shoulder cut, a tiered skirt or puff sleeves, dresses with these types of details can usually be included in cocktail attire.
