What to Wear to a Spring Lunch with Friends

This outfit is the definition of effortlessly chic. You have the on-trend ’90s fit of the denim jeans combined with the feminine vibes of this floral shirt that creates this laidback, girly look. It’s chic without trying too hard.

This floral top is by English Factory and I love the subtle floral pattern carried throughout. I also really like the cropped fit because it meets the top of the high-rise jeans perfectly. The back has a smocked panel for a little give to get that perfect fit. Additionally, the sleeves have just the right amount of a short puff sleeve. This top fits me true to size, and I’m wearing an XS.

I paired the floral top with these Agolde ’90s straight jeans. Because these don’t come in different lengths, I simply cuffed mine, and really like how they look this way. For size reference, I sized down one to a 23 because they run a bit big.

The great thing about these jeans is that they look very casual on their own, but they’re actually very versatile with how you can style them. With this look, I dressed it up a bit with the heels and top. But you could also wear sneakers or sandals with a plain white tee and baseball hat for a comfy, casual look. They will look just as darling either way you to choose to style them.

These block heels are going to be a go-to of mine throughout this spring and summer. Not only are they affordable, they’re also very comfortable. Additionally, the neutral color is perfect to pair with a variety of looks from denim to skirts and dresses.

We’ve been seeing a lot of the twisted or braided details on sandals and heeled sandals. And I like how these have a little bit more of a loose braid for something different than the tighter braids. For sizing, I’d suggest sizing up a 1/2 size.

To accessorize, I paired oversized sunnies in case we’re sitting on a patio. You could also wear a straw hat with this look, if you knew you were going to be sitting outside. This one here is adorable and comes in different sizes, which is nice.

I finished the look with one my favorite designer crossbody bags. Mine is in the color dark beige, but it also comes in a variety of other colors. Here are the dimensions of the bag: 9.4″ X 5.7″ X 2.1″. It’s a great size to carry your necessities in when you’re going out to eat, attending a wedding or exploring a city.
